Qingdao Lightweight Automobile Middle Test Base

Qingdao Lightweight Automobile Middle Test Base is located at west of Binhai Avenue, south of Shiyuan Avenue. The base has a site area of 16.5 mu with office buildings and workshops totalling 6,700 square metres. It will accommodate a research team on lightweight automobile materials led by Academician XU Huibin with the School of Materials Science and Engineering of the Beihang University. And a cutting-edge research and development centre for lightweight automobile as well as an industrial base will be built here.
